Protecting yourself from emails and web results.

There are plenty of people ready to make trouble for you online. One of the easier ways is phony emails and attachments. You might get an email from your bank, or someone else you do business with, but it is really from a phisher. They may want you to follow a link to a website that looks like your bank and put in your email and password so they can steal those credentials. So best to never follow email links or even call a phone number on an email. Another thing I have also seen is where web searches come up that looked like the real thing but were not, so double check the site, and click on the https lock to see if it really is the correct website owner. If suspicious, don’t go any further.
